How it all started...
Freedom Life Church was founded by Pastors Michael and Lyn Bacon back in 2008. Originally, the ministry was a prophetic hub where people would come to get encouraging words. At one time we had a team of prophets ministering to people through prophecy, healing and deliverance. Within a year a church was birthed. Our original church name was Healing Rain Ministries in Raleigh, NC. Later we relocated to Youngsville, NC and the church was renamed Glory Tabernacle International Ministries. We were there for 9 years before our leased building was sold and we were forced to move. After much prayer and seeking God, the church bought a building in Angier, NC in 2022 and the church name was then changed to be Freedom Life Church to reflect the mission to reach people and change lives.
Now we are starting our new journey in Angier, NC. This has been an adjustment as the move was an hour away from our last location. In a way its a re-start, but we believe that God has sent us to Angier. We needed a financial miracle to relocate with over 60k needed in 60 days and God supernaturally provided for the church to close the loan. It was surely God as we did not have the funds we needed. There were so many that gave and helped and we are grateful for the love and support that was given to us in this transition. We are excited to embark on our new journey to see what God will do in this new season.
Perhaps you will be part of this new plan. We certainly hope so . We know God is raising up people for this work and will draw all men by His spirit. Come find your place and be part of the vision.

Expanding the vision...
A big part of our ministry and vision is to get out of the four walls of the church and help reach the community and world for Christ. We are looking to make an impact in the community helping those in need to know the love and provision of Christ. Only through Christ do we have what we truly need.
Where we are headed...
We are believing God for a powerful move of His Spirit in our church and community. We believe there will be a mighty outpouring for the equipping and release of His people to do the will of the Father.
We don't want to be a religious church, but a spirit filled body that is constantly hungering and thirsting after the presence of God. It is better to have a relationship with God versus a form of religion that so often churches are following after. We teach relationship with God as the critical aspect to our faith. We each need to know Him intimately so we can learn to hear His voice.
Going forward we want to create an atmosphere that will allow God to move the way He wants us to move through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is our desire to let Him take over our services and flow any way that He wants to flow. If He says pray, we pray. If He says worship we worship. Whatever Holy Spirit says that is where we want to be. We are looking for others that desire a move of God.
